Cognitive Harmony (humpday)

I’m working on a theory I’m calling “Ralph’s Theory of Cognitive Harmony.” TCH for short. In fact, I’m going to make a page dedicated to it. Boom!

Here’s the gist (jist?): We should follow our instincts. No more saying, “I should do this.” Instead, ask yourself, “is this what I want to do?” If it is, then do it. If it isn’t, then don’t! But Ralph, you might say, “I have so many things I need to do and not all of them are fun” and I would say that you have found the crux of the matter! Remind yourself of the importance of what you’re doing and your instincts will adjust accordingly. If it isn’t important, then find something else to do. Doing things that you feel are important allows you to stay harmonious!

Alright, alright… I know I have some more fleshing out to do. But, it could be great right? I’ll keep working on it.

Have a good humpday!

Best,
Ralph
